Red and white paint contrasts sharply on this 1/2 oz (14 g) body, offering a high-visibility profile for a variety of water conditions. This 2 3/4" (7 cm) Oriental Wiggler no.4 displays the distinctive front spinner assembly that helped Al Foss pioneer the pork rind lure category in the early 1900s. A single large hook is anchored firmly through the center, held by a screw mechanism designed to pin a rind strip along the recessed red belly. Stamped lettering on the midsection identifies the model as the Oriental No. 4, accompanied by yellow eyes that remain vivid against the white upper half. The metal spinner bracket retains its original shape, engineered to rotate freely and provide the necessary flash during a retrieve. Showing in 5/5 condition, the surfaces are remarkably clean for a lure of this age. Every detail from the weighted belly to the unique hook slot reflects the functional design of early casting lures. Reference item #24641.
