Brass scales and a distinct eye pattern etched into the metal surface identify this 1/4 oz (7 g) spoon as a piece of American angling history. Stamped on the underside with the name Al's Goldfish and patent number 2,542,606, this specimen carries the Product Code 19521. Measuring 2" (5 cm), it represents a design so influential that Field and Stream ranked it among the top 50 lures ever made in 2006. The solid brass finish is exceptionally clean, showing no signs of use and justifying a 5/5 condition rating. Often found in the tackle boxes of serious anglers since 1952, its simple yet effective fish-shaped profile is built for both casting and trolling applications in fresh water. The tail section is flared slightly and paired with an original-style treble hook attached via a robust split ring.
