Weighing in at 1/3oz (10g), this Eppinger Dardevle Cop-E-Cat 7300 UV features a distinctive fluorescent yellow crackle finish that immediately stands out in a tackle box. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5cm), the body is adorned with five bold red dots and the classic black devil head logo, a stamp of quality from a company that’s been operating since Lou Eppinger started in Detroit back in 1906. While it looks like a standard high-visibility spoon in daylight, the specialized UV properties allow it to glow a bright green in dark or deep water, providing a completely different visual profile for fish. The nickel-finished back provides a traditional flash to complement the painted front. This particular specimen is in 4/5 condition, showing well-preserved paint and original hardware. It carries the product code 10110 and represents the long-standing American tradition of Eppinger’s proprietary die-cast spoons. The concave oblong shape is designed for casting or trolling, a design that has remained largely unchanged for over a century because of its effectiveness on the water.
