Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, the distinctive yellow and orange honeycomb scale pattern on this Eppinger spoon is designed for high visibility. Weighing 1/3 oz (10 g), the Cop-E-Cat 7300 UV, identified by product code 4887, features a nickel-plated back stamped with the manufacturer’s Detroit, U.S.A. origin. This stamp serves as a reminder of Lou Eppinger’s beginnings in 1906, when he hand-crafted lures in a Michigan basement. The fluorescent UV glow finish of this specimen helps it stay visible in deeper waters where standard light fades. A classic treble hook is attached to the tail end using a strong split ring for casting. The specimen shows no signs of use, with the vibrant paint and clear stamps resulting in a condition rating of 5/5. The uniquely shaped concave surface, created with proprietary dies, allows for a specific wobbling action during a slow retrieve. Near the eyelet, the iconic black devil head logo is clearly visible against the orange gradient.
