Museum Archive: Vintage Eppinger Dardevle Cop-E-Cat 7300 UV, 1/3oz Yellow / Orange fishing spoon #5308

Bright yellow and orange paint finishes define the face of this particular spoon, transitions that are enhanced by a fluorescent UV glow for visibility. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) and weighing in at 1/3 oz (10 g), the Dardevle Cop-E-Cat 7300 (Product Code 5308) features the classic Eppinger construction collectors recognize. The polished metal back is clearly stamped with "COP-E-CAT 7300" and "DETROIT U.S.A.", grounding this specimen in the company's early Michigan history. On the painted side, the stylized cat logo is centered in the lower third of the body. This lure is in 5/5 condition, with a vibrant, intact finish and a clean metal reverse. The hardware includes a factory split ring at the base holding a sharp treble hook. Designed for casting or trolling, the concave profile of the metal body is weighted for stable presentation during a slow retrieve. The lead hole at the top is cleanly punched for easy rigging.
