Five red diamonds stand out against the bold yellow enamel finish of this mid-century casting spoon. Weighing 2/5 oz (11 g) and measuring 2 1/4" (5.7 cm) in length, this specimen represents a classic size for various freshwater predators. The reverse side reveals a brass construction stamped with "DARDEVLE IMP 2/5 OZ DEARBORN MI," a mark used after Eppinger's relocation to Dearborn in 1959. This specific lure, listed under product code 0240, carries the iconic red imp logo centered on its face. The hardware includes a factory-standard treble hook secured by a split ring. Its condition is a solid 4/5, showing only slight wear on the finish and a clean, legible stamp on the metal back. The oblong, concave profile is a direct result of Eppinger's proprietary manufacturing dies, ensuring the traditional shape collectors look for.
