This specimen shows its history through visible paint chips along the edges and surface of the concave metal body, though the stamped logo remains distinguishable. Lou Eppinger began crafting these in Detroit back in 1906, and this mid-sized Imp reflects that century-long commitment to functional hardware. The hardware consists of a vintage brass-toned treble hook secured by a split ring, showing some darkening from age.
