Stamped clearly into the silver-finished reverse side, the weight of 2/5 oz (11 g) identifies this Dardevle Imp as a versatile tool for mid-range casting. This specimen, carrying product code 19102, features the classic Trout color palette with a smooth gradient transitioning from a white tip through a light blue center into a deep reddish-pink belly. Nine distinct black dots are arranged in a diagonal line across the 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) body, providing the high-contrast visual cues necessary to mimic a small salmonid. The front face is detailed with the recognizable devil head logo printed neatly on the blue section. Flipping it over reveals the crisp stamping of the Eppinger brand and the Dearborn, Michigan, manufacturing origin, which places its production after the company’s 1959 move from Detroit. The spoon is equipped with its original gray-toned treble hook and a secure split ring at the head. In terms of preservation, the condition is a solid 5/5, with no visible loss to the paint and a clean, legible stamp on the polished metal underside.
