Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, this mid-century casting spoon carries the hallmark Red Devle pattern, a vibrant red finish bisected by a cream-colored diagonal stripe. The 1950s era of Eppinger production is identifiable by the small devil head logo stamped directly into the painted surface. Weighing 2/5 oz (11 g), the lure's concave interior is stamped with high-relief lettering that reads "DARDEVLE IMP U.S.A.," providing a clear tactile link to its Michigan roots. The hardware includes a factory-original treble hook secured by a split ring, suitable for both casting and trolling setups. This specimen maintains a 5/5 condition, displaying soft softening of the paint at the edges and a few honest chips from storage that reflect its age. These minor cosmetic marks are found primarily along the rim, while the internal polished metal remains bright and the product code 22793 designation is clearly preserved in the collection database.
