Stretching exactly 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, this classic casting spoon showcases a vibrant Rainbow trout pattern across its convex surface. The stamped "DEARBORN MI" on the polished nickel back marks its origin after Eppinger's 1959 relocation from Detroit, a detail collectors always look for. Weighing 2/5 oz (11 g), the Dardevle Imp carries the iconic blue devil head logo near the hook eye, a symbol of Lou Eppinger’s legacy since 1906. The color palette transitions from a sky blue edge to a creamy white center and a warm pink belly, all finished with distinct black dots to mimic local forage. Secured by a sturdy split ring, the original treble hook remains sharp. This specimen, identified by Product Code 20332, is in excellent 5/5 condition, showing a pristine finish and clear, legible stamps on the reverse side. The concave interior of the metal provides the characteristic wobbling motion that has defined the brand's success for over a century.
