Weighing 2/5 oz (11 g), this metal casting spoon is finished in the classic Frog pattern, featuring vibrant yellow circles and a crackled texture over a dark base. Eppinger has manufactured the Dardevle Imp at this 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) length for decades, maintaining the specific concave shape developed by Lou Eppinger in Detroit. This specimen, listed under product code 22057, retains its original nickel-plated back which provides a bright flash when retrieved through the water column. Hardware includes a standard silver treble hook attached via a split ring, showing no signs of wear. The lure is in unused condition, still mounted to the traditional black retail card that highlights its Michigan heritage. This Frog finish is a favorite for stained water, where the high-contrast yellow spotting remains highly visible.
