A polished nickel finish on the concave reverse side of this specimen immediately catches the eye, featuring a clean 'Dearborn MI' stamp that dates its production after Eppinger's 1959 move. The convex face is finished in a vibrant Bright Rainbow pattern, characterized by a glowing chartreuse center that transitions into a reddish-orange honeycomb scale design toward the edges. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) and weighing 2/5 oz (11 g), the Imp is a mid-sized classic, well-suited for casting toward a variety of freshwater predators. The iconic black devil head logo remains sharp and centered on the paintwork. This particular lure, identified by product code 3327, is in excellent condition with a rating of 5/5, showing a very clean finish and bright hardware. The original treble hook and heavy-duty split ring are securely attached to the thick-gauge metal body, a hallmark of Eppinger's manufacturing process. The stamped lettering on the back—'DARDEVLE IMP'—is deeply embossed and perfectly legible against the mirror-like nickel surface.
