Stamping on the polished reverse side clearly identifies this as a genuine Dardevle Imp made in the USA. Weighing 2/5 oz (11 g), the specimen features the iconic devil head logo printed over a vibrant chartreuse honeycomb pattern. This specific model, product code 4481, is the Klicker version, which includes two small metal blades attached to the split ring to generate sound during a steady retrieve. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, the lure sports a Fluorescent Green UV finish designed to glow under specific light spectrums. Since Lou Eppinger began hand-making these in Detroit over a century ago, the teardrop shape has remained a staple for casting and trolling.
