Weighing in at a nimble 3/16 oz (6 g), this Eppinger creation is a classic example of American lure craftsmanship. The 1 1/2" (3.5 cm) metal body features the iconic red and white striped pattern on its face, accented by the distinctive devil head logo stamped into the plating. Flip it over to find the "DARDEVLE MIDGET U.S.A." engraving, a hallmark of its Dearborn, Michigan origins. This specific specimen, identified by product code 11159, remains in excellent condition at a rating of 5/5, showing a bright finish and clean hardware. It comes equipped with a sturdy split ring and a single treble hook. The concave shape of this spoon is the same design that earned Dardevle a spot in WWII aviation survival kits due to its reliability for casting and trolling. While smaller than the traditional Dardevle, the Midget maintains the same construction standards that Lou Eppinger established in 1906.
