A heavy 1oz (25g) weight provides the necessary ballast for this G.M. Skinner Willow leaf spoon, allowing it to hold its depth effectively. Identified by product code 6370, this specimen measures 6 3/4" (17cm) and features the iconic elongated blade shape in a copper and red finish. The design of this lure remained virtually unchanged by the manufacturer until 1970, making it a recognizable piece of angling history. Attached to the wire-wrapped frame is a treble hook dressed with red and white feathers, which adds a visual contrast to the metal body. The copper surfaces and hardware show a gentle softening of their original shine, resulting in a 4/5 condition rating. The assembly is completed with a traditional box-style swivel, a characteristic detail of the G.M. Skinner production line.
