A distinctive purple-to-black gradient runs along the spine of this Heddon Excalibur Spit'n Image, meeting a thin yellow lateral stripe that separates the dark back from the pearlized belly. Weighing in at 1/2 oz (14 g), this topwater specialist, identified by Product Code 19334, was engineered to sit on the surface and mimic the profile of a threadfin shad. On one side of the 3 1/4" (8 cm) body, the signature of legendary angler Bill Dance is clearly legible, while the opposite side bears the Heddon Spit'n Image factory stamp. The finish remains in excellent condition, warranting a 5/5 rating, with the silver-scaled texturing and internal rattle mechanism perfectly preserved. This USA-made specimen is rigged with its original hardware, featuring two sharp treble hooks and a sturdy nose-mounted line tie. The weighting of the lure is concentrated to assist with distance casting and placement accuracy near heavy cover.
