Weighing in at 1/4 oz (7 g), this Heddon Tiny Torpedo is a quintessential topwater prop-bait from the Pradco era. Dressed in the iconic Bass pattern (color code BB), the lure features a dark olive back with a detailed scale motif and a series of dark ovals along the lateral line. This specimen, identified by product code X0360BB, measures 1 7/8" (4.8 cm) and is still housed in its original 1990-copyrighted card packaging. The signature rear propeller is designed to churn the water's surface, while the high-floating body keeps it positioned for surface strikes. Assembled in Mexico, the construction includes a belly-mounted treble hook and a trailing hook behind the prop. The specimen is unused, appearing in factory condition with its colors and hardware preserved behind the clear blister seal. A bold yellow eye with a black pupil provides a focused strike point for predators like bass or speckled trout. The back of the card provides specific technique instructions, noting that the lure creates a surface disturbance that mimics a struggling baitfish. Every detail, from the crisp lettering on the card to the unblemished paint, remains in its original state.
