Measuring 2 1/2" (6.5 cm) in length, this teardrop-shaped crankbait features a distinct color scheme of black fading into olive-yellow with a generous dusting of silver glitter along the flanks. Manufactured in Japan for the S.S. Kresge Company (Kmart) under product code 11835, the lure is a classic rattle-type plug designed for both casting and trolling applications. The 1/2 oz (14 g) weight provides the necessary mass for long-distance deliveries, while the red-tinted diving lip is engineered to reach depths between 3 ft (0.9 m) and 7 ft (2.1 m). Large, prominent yellow eyes with dark pupils provide a high-contrast target point on the forward section of the body. Because it is unused, the specimen remains preserved in its original vintage blister pack, which has kept the silver treble hooks and vibrant paint finish in original condition.
