Stamped clearly into the nickel blade is the "L & S LADDIE" lettering, a hallmark of this American-made hardware. Sized at 2 3/4" (7 cm) and weighing 1/4 oz (7 g), the lure is built around a central wire shaft featuring three stacked cylindrical metal weights. These nickel-plated body sections are separated by two bright orange beads that catch the light behind the rotating French-style blade. The tail end holds a sharp treble hook, which has been thoughtfully dressed with a blend of brown and red feathers held in place by a red thread wrap.
