Museum Archive: Vintage Seneca Little Cleo Crystal, 1/4oz Crystal fishing spoon #5803

A textured, fine-grain finish known as "Crystal" distinguishes this specific spoon, providing a subtle, scattered reflection quite different from standard high-polish models. Produced by the Seneca Lure company before their acquisition by Acme in the early 1980s, this 1 1/2" (4 cm) specimen represents the original "Wigl-Lure" design as noted by the clear stamp on its reverse side. Weighing 1/4 oz (7 g), the lure carries the product code 5803 and was manufactured in the USA. The gold-toned surface is in 5/5 condition, appearing exceptionally clean and well-kept. A sturdy treble hook is attached to the rear split ring, while the top eyelet remains clear and ready for a snap or line-tie.
