Stamped into the polished copper surface, the iconic "Hula Girl" dancer marks this specimen as a sought-after early production piece from the Seneca Lure company. This 1/3oz (10g) spoon represents the era before Seneca was acquired by Acme in the early 1980s, a transition that eventually led to the removal of the dancer engraving from later versions. Measuring 1 3/4" (4.5cm) in length, the metal body maintains its structural integrity and warm Copper finish. Cataloged as Product Code 10782, it features a heavy-duty treble hook secured by a split ring, built for casting or trolling. Many collectors and veteran anglers still hold the tradition that the presence of the Hula Girl is what truly cemented this lure's legendary reputation. This USA-made specimen is in 4/5 condition, presenting very well with clear, deep stampings.
