Weighing in at 1/3 oz (10 g), this original Seneca-produced Little Cleo features the classic "Hula Girl" stamp on its reverse side, a detail collectors prize since Acme discontinued the dancer icon after acquiring the brand in the early 1980s. The 1 3/4" (4.5 cm) spoon body displays a vibrant orange-to-white gradient finish that transitions smoothly across its convex surface. Identified by Product Code 12979, these early Seneca models established the legacy that many seasoned anglers believe was the key to the lure's reputation. The hardware is exceptionally well-preserved, featuring a sturdy split ring and a sharp treble hook in unused condition, rating a 5/5. Looking closely at the nickel-finished back, the crisp "Wig-L-Lure" and "Little Cleo" stamping alongside the dancer silhouette identifies this as a genuine USA-made specimen from the pre-Acme era.
