Gleaming with a classic Nickel finish, this 1 3/4" (4.5 cm) spoon represents the sought-after Seneca Lure company era before its acquisition by Acme in the early 1980s. This specimen, identified by product code 4285, is the legendary 'Hula Girl' model, distinguished by the dancer stamped onto the back which many seasoned anglers believe was the secret to its success. Weighing 1/3 oz (10 g), the lure is unused and remains in its original 'Wigl-Lure' blister packaging, which labels the design as 'The Wigglin' Killer.' Collectors often look for these specific Seneca-influenced pieces because modern Acme versions eventually removed the iconic dancer stamp. The packaging, which also displays catalog number C-100, was printed and manufactured in the U.S.A. and features the original card backing showcasing other Acme staples like the Wob-L-Rite and Sidewinder.
