Weighing in at 3/4oz (21g), this substantial casting spoon provides the heft needed for long-distance deliveries on open water. The vibrant red finish on the front face is accented by three distinct gold-toned diagonal stripes and a pattern of small black dots. Flipping the 2 1/2" (6.5cm) metal body reveals the hallmark of its heritage: the iconic "Hula Girl" dancer stamp, a signature of the original Seneca Lure company before the brand was acquired by Acme in the early 1980s. Collectors often look for this specific 9173 product code to distinguish these earlier Seneca models from modern versions that lack the dancer image. The reverse side also features clearly stamped weight and brand markings in the polished gold-finished metal. This specimen is unused and remains in excellent 5/5 condition, showing the high-quality finish expected from a vintage USA-made lure. It comes equipped with a large, brass-toned treble hook attached by a sturdy split ring, designed for casting into deep pools or trolling for larger predators.
