Museum Archive: Vintage Luhr Jensen Little Jewel, 3/4oz Nickel / Blue / Pink fishing spoon #4295

Stamped with the 'Little Jewel' insignia and a small diamond graphic, the concave side of this 3/4 oz (21 g) spoon clearly identifies its Luhr Jensen heritage and USA origins. The nickel-plated body is accented with a split-color scale-patterned sticker, divided between a vibrant blue and a bright pink. Measuring 2 1/2" (6.5 cm) in length, the hardware consists of a sharp treble hook joined to the body by a sturdy split ring. Since this model is no longer produced by the manufacturer, finding an example with such a well-preserved finish—rated at a condition of 5/5—is a highlight for any tackle box. The upper end of the teardrop-shaped body features a precision-drilled line-tie hole for direct attachment.
