Vintage Luhr Jensen J-Plug Silver bulle, 1/2oz silver bullet fishing lure #20031

Measuring 5" (12.5 cm) in length, the sleek profile of this vintage trolling plug features a high-visibility "Silver Bullet" chrome finish accented by three diagonal green stripes along the back. This Luhr Jensen J-Plug, identified by product code 20031, weighs 1/2 oz (14 g) and is a classic example of USA-made hollow-body floating lures. The large concave face is centered by a rigging hole, designed to house a free-sliding internal chain swivel that facilitates high-energy swimming at fast trolling speeds. On the side, the Luhr Jensen name and brand logo are clearly stamped into the chrome. A yellow eye with a black pupil provides a distinct focal point near the head. In 4/5 condition, the specimen maintains a bright, clean reflective surface with very little wear on the plating. The tapered tail and broad head are structurally sound, preserving the original factory geometry of this iconic Pacific Northwest salmon lure.
