A vibrant red sleeve covers the treble hook shank, offering a high-visibility target point for predatory fish. Weighing 1/4oz (7g) and measuring 2 3/4" (7cm), this Mepps Aglia 3 is a classic example of the spinner design produced for the Canadian company Breck's during the 1970s. The silver-finished blade features clear stampings including the manufacturer's name and French patent references, with only very light signs of handling consistent with a 5/5 condition rating. A heavy, ribbed brass body provides the necessary weight for casting, situated behind a clevis that allows the blade to spin against the wire shaft. This mechanical assembly reflects the original 1938 design by Andre Meulnart, focusing on immediate rotation upon the retrieve. The lure is finished with a dark metal treble hook and a traditional wire-wrapped eyelet at the head for secure line attachment.
