The metal surface is stamped with "Mepps 5 Aglia" alongside British, French, and U.S. patent pending marks, identifying this specific piece as product code 22140. A series of brass-toned segmented beads form the weighted body, leading to a hand-tied natural fiber dressing. The dark brown tail, interspersed with subtle red highlights and bound by a tight red thread wrap, effectively masks the hook. Measuring 3 1/2" (9 cm) in total length, the lure holds a 4/5 condition rating, showing light surface wear on the metal components and a clean, intact dressing.
