Museum Archive: Vintage Mepps Aglia Long 2 Mino, 1/3oz Brass spinning lure #7563

Brass finishes on the willow-leaf blade catch the light with a distinctive textured diamond pattern. The stamped "AGLIA LONG 2 MADE IN FRANCE" marking on the blade reflects the historical collaboration where French-made components were assembled in the USA. Measuring a total of 4 1/4" (11 cm), the lure features a soft-plastic minnow body detailed with a realistic blue and silver gradient. This specimen, identified by product code 7563, maintains a weight of 1/3 oz (9 g) and is built around a brass-colored weight stack accented with deep red grooves and a bright red bead. Three hooks are strategically positioned along the fish profile, emerging from the dorsal, ventral, and tail sections.
