Weighing in at 3/5oz (17g), this specimen features the distinctive removable lead head jig system that defines the Lusox series. The gold-plated blade is deeply stamped with a detailed scale pattern and clear "MEPPS LUSOX 2" branding, with the "USA" origin marked on the reverse side. A bright yellow lead weight sits at the front of the wire shaft, showing light surface marks while retaining its high-visibility finish. The central body consists of three stacked brass beads followed by a single vibrant red bead, serving as a focal point for the construction. This 3 1/4" (8cm) lure is finished with a treble hook dressed in a thick combination of yellow and black feathers to create a larger underwater profile. Given its 4/5 condition rating, the lure remains in great shape with clear markings and intact hardware from its production era. The wire assembly is straight, and the feathered dressing remains full and securely tied to the hook shank.
