A bright nickel finish defines the surface of this 2" (5cm) teardrop spoon, a classic design weighing 1/2oz (14g) from the National Expert era in Minneapolis. Carrying product code 1458, this Tor-P-Do 2 specimen represents the craftsmanship that was eventually absorbed into the Nebco brand before becoming part of the Blue Fox lineage. The lure is unused, preserved in its original red and yellow carded packaging which notes its ability to dart, wobble, and roll during retrieves. Built with a heavy-duty split ring and treble hook, it was engineered for targeting aggressive game fish like muskie, pike, and salmon through casting or trolling. While the paper backing and clear blister show some shelf wear from storage, the nickel plating remains highly reflective and free of oxidation. This USA-made spoon remains a tactile example of mid-century terminal tackle construction.
