Museum Archive: Vintage Hofschneider Red Eye Junior, 1/4oz Copper fishing spoon #15193

Two faceted red glass beads set into the metal body give this Hofschneider Red Eye Junior its signature look and name. Measuring 1 3/4" (4.5cm) and weighing 1/4oz (6.5g), this specimen is a classic example of Rochester, NY tackle manufacturing under product code 15193. The copper finish shows signs of aging and use, reflecting its 4/5 condition with visible character on both sides of the spoon. Stamped clearly on the reverse is the "Red Eye Genuine Lure" branding alongside the manufacturer's name. It comes equipped with a swivel at the nose and a robust treble hook at the tail, intended for casting or trolling applications.
