Weighing in at a substantial 1oz (28g), this classic lure features a distinctive pattern of eleven holes drilled into its nickel-plated body. Originating from the USA in the 1950s, the Chruscz Spoonfish represents an era of American lure manufacturing where metalwork experimentation was common. The 4" (10cm) length provides a large profile, while the stamped nickel finish (Product Code 1018) shows some light wear consistent with a 4/5 condition rating. A sturdy split ring connects the main blade to a weathered treble hook, preserving the original hardware configuration. These perforations in the metal are the defining characteristic of the Spoonfish, intended to alter the way water passes through the blade compared to solid spoons. The surface retains its reflective quality despite minor age spots, keeping the vintage aesthetic intact.
