Measuring 1 3/4" (4.5 cm) in length, the unique U-shaped body of this South Bend Super-Duper 506 is a testament to clever American metal-folding design. The paint scheme consists of a solid white body with a high-visibility red accent at the top, which holds a functional wire snap for quick line attachment. At the opposite end, a large, single long-shank hook is secured by a sturdy split ring. Bearing the product code 0539, this 1/4 oz (7 g) specimen is a well-preserved piece of USA-made angling history. It remains in 5/5 condition, with the painted surfaces and metallic elements appearing as they did when first leaving the factory.
