A nickel-finished reverse side stamped with the iconic "DARDEVLE U.S.A." mark defines this vintage Imp model. Weighing in at 2/5 oz (11 g), the specimen carries the manufacturer's product code 11266 and showcases a well-preserved red and white striped paint job. This 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) lure is engineered for heavy cover, featuring a single hook protected by a wire weed guard and accented with original red feathers. Eppinger has been producing these in Michigan since Lou Eppinger's early days in Detroit, and the sturdy construction on this weedless version is evident in the hardware's secure mounting. The enamel retains its gloss, reflecting its 5/5 condition rating. On the convex face, a small black dot provides a subtle focal point against the traditional stripes. The single hook and guard remain functional for casting directly into vegetated waters.
