Weighing in at 2/5oz (11g), the Weedless Hydro Spoon by Hydro Lures showcases a distinctive green and black scale-patterned finish on its spoon-shaped body. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5cm), this vintage specimen, identified by Product Code 14443, was produced by Hydro Lures, a division of Plasform, Inc. formerly based in Huntsville, Alabama. The design focuses on a weighted belly that helps the lure land upright, protecting the hook behind a multi-strand skirt of green and yellow filaments. Originally marketed as the "optimal weedless lure," it was engineered for fishing through thick moss beds and lily pads where traditional spoons might snag. This specimen is unused and remains firmly attached to its original factory cardboard packaging.
