The Rooster Tail has been one of the favorite lures of American trout anglers since the 1950s. It features a feather tail and a long, willow leaf-shaped blade that rotates widely, creating sound vibrations. This lure was developed by Howard Worden in Wisconsin and is considered one of the most effective for trout fishing. Anglers fishing for trout in small streams with strong currents particularly favor the Rooster Tail, as its soft, splashless landing, enticing flash, and vibrations attract fish that are usually unresponsive to other lures. In Ukrainian water bodies, these lures have proven to be excellent for catching cautious fish like chub or roach, as well as for hunting traditional pike and perch. Rooster Tail lures have dedicated followers among anglers who prefer them for their effectiveness and ability to create strong vibrations.
