A striking black and white scale pattern wraps around the body of the 3" (7.5 cm) surface lure, distinguishing its unique hybrid spoon-and-plug construction. Rated as unused (Condition 6), the specimen is preserved on its original Huntsville, Alabama, backing card under product code 14486. The 3/5 oz (17 g) body is weighted internally to ensure it lands upright with every cast, a feature specifically engineered for navigating the densest lily pads and moss beds. A high-contrast rubber skirt in alternating black and white strands adds volume to the tail end, while the top of the lure features dark, stylized markings over a fine grey mesh. According to the manufacturer, Hydro Lures, the design allows for slow retrieves through heavy structure without sinking or hanging up. The hook is integrated into the body to maintain its weedless profile during surface operation.
