Clear stamps on the silver-toned back reveal the Detroit, U.S.A. heritage of this Chuck-Lett 3400 model. Weighing in at 3/16oz (5g), this trolling spoon measures 2 1/2" (6.5cm) and features a distinctive UV-sensitive finish. The face of the lure transitions from a bright orange along one edge into a creamy white, accented by a small, black line-art character illustration near the lower eyelet. Designed for trolling, the oblong shape and concave surface provide a wobbling action when moved through the water. This specific specimen carries the product code 3903 and is in unused condition, maintaining its original factory luster. Collectors often value the Detroit stampings, which harken back to Eppinger's manufacturing history before the company moved headquarters to Dearborn in 1959. A sturdy treble hook and split ring assembly complete the terminal tackle.
