Copper plating on the reverse side of this Eppinger Dardevle Dardevlet bears the iconic Detroit stamping, marking its heritage from the brand's historic production era. Listed under product code 3434, this 3/4oz (21g) specimen measures 2 3/4" (7cm) and carries the signature devil head logo on its face. The classic red-and-white pattern is applied with a distinctive white flash across the center, a design Lou Eppinger developed to mimic distressed baitfish using proprietary manufacturing dies. This specimen rates a 4/5 in condition, showing honest character with paint loss and wear concentrated near the lower ring and hook attachment, while the stamped copper back remains bright and clear. It comes equipped with its original treble hook hardware, suitable for the heavy casting this model was intended for. When fishing these spoons, the copper back is especially useful for creating a warm flash in cloudy or stained water, a trick experienced anglers have used for decades to draw strikes when nickel finishes fail.
