Weighing in at 2 oz (58g), this heavy-gauge metal spoon is a notable find for those specializing in mid-century Michigan-made tackle. The Dardevle Huskie Junior Detroit (Product Code: 24338) measures 4 1/2" (11.5cm) and features the iconic "Detroit" stamp on its reverse, dating it specifically to the 1950s era of Eppinger production. Its face is finished in a nickel/red color scheme, specifically a cream and red scale pattern that was a departure from the more common solid stripes of the period. This specimen is in 4/5 condition, displaying slight paint loss near the edges which reveals the metal substrate underneath. The original large treble hook is still attached to the rear split ring, suitable for the heavy-duty casting and trolling applications this model was built for. The stamped logo on the reverse remains sharp and central, identifying its origins clearly in Detroit, Michigan.
