Hammered across its entire surface, the Crystal (Golden Scale) finish on this specimen provides a classic reflective quality that was discontinued back in the 1980s. This specific Dardevle Imp, identified by product code 4932, tips the scales at 2/5oz (11g) and measures exactly 2 1/4" (5.5cm) in length. On the concave reverse, the deep 'DARDEVLE IMP U.S.A.' stamp confirms its heritage from the Eppinger workshop in Michigan. The lure is in 5/5 condition, with the textured scale pattern remaining crisp and the metal surfaces appearing bright. A sturdy treble hook is attached via a standard split ring, suited for casting or trolling. Eppinger has been utilizing proprietary dies to stamp these teardrop-shaped spoons since Lou Eppinger started the company in 1906, ensuring the specific geometry remains consistent for its signature wobbling retrieve. The 11g (2/5oz) weight allows for steady positioning in the water column during a slow retrieve.
