Stamped markings on the brass back, including 'Rok't-Devle Imp' and 'Dearborn, MI', trace the history of this 3/4 oz (21 g) spoon to the period after the manufacturer’s 1959 relocation. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm), the lure features a high-contrast black and white face with the classic devil head logo centered on the white section. This Eppinger classic, product code 13066, uses a concave, oblong shape intended to create a wobbling action when fished with a slow retrieve. A bright treble hook is secured to the tail by a strong split ring, showing no signs of corrosion. The condition is a 5/5, with both the paint and the brass backing appearing very clean and well-maintained. While the black and white front provides high visibility for predatory fish, the brass back offers a traditional flash that has been catching fish since Lou Eppinger started the company in 1906.
