The brass reverse side of this spoon is clearly stamped with the "ROK'T-DEVLE IMP. DEARBORN MICH." mark, identifying its production heritage after Eppinger's 1959 relocation. Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5cm) and weighing 3/4oz (21g), this lure features a high-contrast split finish on its face; one half is a solid black, while the other is a polished metallic silver sporting the iconic black devil head logo. This specific color arrangement, associated with product code 13136, is built for casting and utilizes a classic concave teardrop shape to interact with water resistance. This specimen is unused and remains in excellent condition, earning a 5/5 rating. The paint is crisp, and the brass back shows the clean, original metal finish without signs of field use. It comes rigged with a single large treble hook connected by a sturdy split ring. Since Lou Eppinger began hand-making these in Detroit in 1906, the proprietary dies used for the Dardevle line have maintained a specific geometry that collectors recognize immediately. This piece is a well-preserved example of American-made tackle history from the Dearborn, Michigan facility.
