Stamping on the nickel-finished reverse side identifies this vintage specimen as a ROK'T-DEVLE IMP, proudly bearing the U.S.A. origin mark and a weight of 3/4 oz (21 g). Measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, the spoon carries product code 13237 and features a high-contrast white center stripe flanked by solid black edges. The iconic devil head logo is stamped onto the face of the concave body, which shows the precision of the proprietary dies used by Eppinger since their early days in Detroit. Hardware consists of a silver-tone treble hook attached via a split ring, all appearing in 5/5 condition with no signs of use. This nickel-backed color scheme is historically favored by anglers for clear water conditions to provide maximum flash. While Eppinger moved their operations to Dearborn, Michigan, in 1959, the construction of this piece remains true to the original designs intended for casting or slow retrieves.
