Tipping the scales at 1 1/3 oz (40g), this heavy-duty specimen represents the classic craftsmanship of Eppinger. This Dardevle Seadevlet, identified by product code 4214, features a distinctive lengthwise split color scheme on the convex side, half-dressed in black and the other in white. Flipping the 4" (10cm) lure over reveals a concave back of unpainted brass stamped with the iconic brand logo, a hallmark of the proprietary dies used by the Michigan-based company. The hardware consists of a robust split ring and a single large treble hook at the tail. Based on the visual evidence, the spoon sits at a 4/5 condition rating, retaining a clean finish and sharp stamping. Eppinger has been refining these spoons in the USA since 1906, even seeing their designs included in vintage aviation survival kits. The weight and high-contrast palette of this specific lure make it a versatile tool for various water conditions, suitable for both casting and trolling.
