Museum Archive: Vintage Northland Forage Minnow, 3/4oz Rainbow Fish fishing spoon #10728

Featuring the classic Rainbow Fish pattern, this spoon shows off a holographic scale finish that catches the light across its 3 1/2" (9 cm) body. The large treble hook, attached via a split ring, shows some wear and corrosion on the shank, consistent with a condition rating of 3/5. Weighing in at 3/4 oz (21 g), the metal body is stamped with the 'FORAGE MINNOW' branding along the side, positioned near a subtle red accent that mimics a gill plate or wounded flash. Flipping the lure over reveals a plain silver reverse side which shows some surface pitting, a common trait for Northland spoons of this era manufactured in the USA. Identified by product code 10728, the lure features a pre-drilled hole at the nose for direct line attachment or a snap swivel.
