Red and white paint covers the compact body of this 3591 model, a classic color pattern often referred to as 'Red Head' among Heddon enthusiasts. Introduced back in 1935, the River Runt Midget series was developed with neutral buoyancy to sit suspended in the water column during pauses. This specific specimen measures approximately 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) in length and carries a weight of roughly 1/2 oz (14 g). The stamped metal diving lip is securely attached to the front, designed to reach specific depths depending on casting or trolling speeds. Looking closely at the head, the recessed eyes feature dark centers and metal surrounds, a hallmark of Heddon’s mid-century manufacturing era. The hardware consists of two treble hooks that show typical signs of age while remaining firmly attached to the body. Condition is rated at 4/5, showing minor surface marks and light wear that reflect its history on the water.
