Stamped from a heavy copper and zinc alloy, the body is engineered with a thicker center to maintain a stable hook-up orientation during the retrieve. A single fixed hook is protected by a sturdy metal wire weed guard, allowing for effective casting directly into heavy vegetation and lily pads. Unlike contemporary versions, this particular specimen comes from the older United States production stock and bears the classic manufacturer stamps on the interior surface.
