Museum Archive: Vintage TODDCO Main liner , 2/5oz Red / Black / Nickel fishing spoon #6461

Measuring exactly 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) in length, this Toddco Main liner is a classic piece of American tackle history produced in the USA until 1980. At 2/5 oz (12.5 g), the spoon is built with a prominent central ridge that divides the face into two distinct visual halves: a deep magenta prism tape and a solid black finish. The reverse side is a polished nickel, offering a high-flash surface to complement the darker front. This specimen, identified by product code 6461, remains in 4/5 condition, retaining a bright luster on the metallic surfaces with only minor evidence of age on the painted sections. The original hardware includes a sturdy treble hook attached via a stainless split ring at the base of the teardrop-shaped body.
